Book cover for 'Blood On Paper' exhibition
The V&A hosted a fantastic exhibition on books produced by artists - from books as art along to different illustrated texts. Leading artists of today and the recent past were represented including Louise Bourgeois, Anthony Caro, Damien Hirst, David Hockney and Henri Matisse. To coincide with the exhibition, Troika was asked to customize Graham Green's Stamboul train, a story about a train journey from Ostend to Istambul. For the exhibition we integrated an extra-slim led display in the front cover that scrolls through the names of the towns in which the train stops, which also happens to match the book's chapter titles.
