18.03.07 - Troika in China.

Troika has been invited to take part in the 2007 edition of the Chinese Exhibition 'Get it Louder', as part of the English selection. The exhibition will feature over 100 Chinese and International Artists and Designers in what is set to become the largest touring exhibition in China.

'Get it louder 2007' will tour Guangzhou, Shangai and Beijing, opening in the Guangding Capital in June this year.

For the exhibition, we will create a chinese version of our installation 'Shit I Forgot the iPod' to be presented along side our electroprobes. This installation, specifically made with objects gathered in Guangdong, will present an electromagnetic portrait of the contemporary chinese electronic production.

To make this happen, the British Council, who co-curates the event, has graciously sent Troika to China on a scouting trip: we love China!
